MY STORY
My mother and I came to this country in 1976, four days before Bicentennial Celebration. We escaped USSR, a totalitarian country without any regards to human rights or freedoms. Since that fateful day of June 30, 1976, my life has been a testament of the opportunities this blessed country has to offer and my hard work to take advantage of all such opportunities.
I have completed my education by earning MBA, Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Houston. I have been successful in obtaining CPA license from Texas (inactive) and Colorado (current).
My professional career has included commercial lender positions, chief financial officer of publicly traded corporation and most recently service as a member of the Board of Directors of two $100 million private corporations.
I have raised a wonderful daughter, 2009 Cheyenne Mountain graduate, who is an army wife and mother to two boys, currently stationed in Fairbanks, AK.
I have been committed to the community service ever since I have chosen to make my home in Colorado Springs in 2003. I have served for 10 years on Utilities Policy Advisory Committee of the Colorado Springs Utilities and currently serve as alternate member of the Audit Committee of the City of Colorado Springs. I also serve as Board member of the El Paso County Parks Board.
